Can I use a lawyer at my mediation or arbitration hearing?

Yes, a party can use an attorney for purposes of the mediation or arbitration. Now, if that person’s not represented by counsel in the underlying litigation, they can still retain the services of an attorney to represent them at the mediation or the arbitration.
